Zig Ziglar died at age 86 from complications with pneumonia today.
Turns out, I had the same birthday as ol' Zig. He was a famous business speaker and a man of faith. He had a witty, funny way of making pithy statements and maxims that rattled around in your brain well. I'll share a collection of my favorite quotes in another post. I first learned of Zig from a colleague I worked with in a development office year ago. I was fascinated by his name, as many are when they first hear of him.
